Dear CLC Members,

Since 1971 the National Christian Life Community has been presenting two awards at the conclusion of our national  conventions/assemblies. This tradition will be continued again this year as CLC in USA gathers for the 27th National Assembly at John Carroll University, Cleveland, Ohio on July 25-28, 2024.  Awards will be presented at the banquet held on the Saturday evening of the Assembly.

The awards focus on individuals OR groups who have contributed to one of two categories.

1. Development of Peoples Award: Named after the encyclical by Pope Paul VI, the Development of Peoples Award is presented to an individual or individuals who are outstanding in carrying out the principles of the document “to serve society by opening hearts to conversion and the struggle to change oppressive structures.” Please Note: The recipient of the Development of People's Award does NOT need to be affiliated with CLC. The nominee may be a group or a couple of people working together. If nominating a group, please provide contact information for a primary contact person of the group. 
2. Development of CLC Award: The Development of CLC Award is presented to an individual or a group of individuals who have given outstanding service toward the promotion, growth and/or development of Christian Life Community.

In keeping with the tradition, the Awards Committee is seeking nominations from CLC groups or regions in both categories. We ask that nominations please not be made by individuals but as a community.
