ExCo met with several cultural and regional CLC communities. One of the fruits that emerged was the need to create space for our Young Adults to be loved, supported, engaged, and sent forth. ExCo proposed and NCC affirmed a new position of Young Adult Member-at-Large. After a prolonged search, we found a unique individual who heard and responded positively to our call. 
 

In his own words:

“The CLC is a world community that I belong to and one that shares my desire to grow deeper in relationship with God through Ignatian Spirituality and the Spiritual Exercises. Being connected to CLC growing up, I was constantly surrounded by role models who have shared their spiritual journey with me and walked me through my own. I feel inspired to do the same in the ways that I can.”

“I strive to live out the CLC Charism through community life as that has become a strong source of support and consolation for me.”

“My vision is to help bridge the gap between young adults in local communities with the wider National and even global community. I would like to collaborate with Ex-Co to see how we can better incorporate young adults into CLC and support them in practical and realistic ways. This goes in line with the goals we set at NCC: young adults are the future of our community.”
