From August 3 to 12, 250 CLC members from 86 countries from all over the world will meet for the World General Assembly in Amiens, France. The General Assembly is the deliberating body of the World CVX-CLC, which has met every five years (almost) since 1954. It has two main missions:
Defining CVX-CLC missions in the world and giving the main orientations (project letter);
Electing the new world service team (EXCO = executive committee) for the coming 5 years
Ten or so French and Belgian companions have been working since Spring 2022 planning for the event
Logistics (there is much to do…)
Liturgy (to call on the Holy Spirit and to pray together, so important!)
Animation (so that all will be beautiful and festive)
Translation and Interpretation (in our world meetings, three languages are used)
Communication (so that the Holy Spirit can be heard from far away!)
