We invite you to join us in praying a Novena as CLC in USA for the intention of Atlanta’s massacre victims*, their family and community, and for Asian-Americans and the many others who suffer from racism in our country.
Affirming ourselves as One Body in Christ, we will be praying Saturday, March 27 and ending on Easter, April 4. April 4th is also the Feast Day of St Benedict the Moor, and a day we remember the assasination in 1968 of Dr. M.L. King, Jr.. Each day's prayer will come from a different CLC region, cultural group (Korean, Hispanic, Vietnamese, Black American) or frontier mission team in CLC (Youth, Family, Integral Ecology & Globalization of Poverty and Migration) recognizing our "many and one" way of life, as we accompany each other in our struggles and journey as CLC companions in Mission, Community and Prayer.
We bow in grief and sorrow, holding each Atlanta victim and their families and communities in the Light of God’s Love and Grace.
