CLC Western Region encompasses English, Vietnamese, and Korean speaking groups, as well as numerous college campuses and young adult groups. Some of these may be bilingual groups.
Here is information about three English-speaking groups in Northern California.
1. San Francisco Bay Area. This small group is a Zoom group and has been in existence for 1 year (2021-2022). All members are women over 60 years old. Their name is "Ignatian Sojourners." They have had a few Zoom Retreats: Advent 2021, Graced History 2022, and Lent 2022 (pending). They are discerning bi-weekly on their group mission & apostolic engagement, and this discernment is going well. The contact is Kathy Hicks: [email protected]
2. Sacramento Area. There is a small group in Sacramento. Please contact Patrice Clemons for more information [email protected]
3. Central Valley of California: The Vine & Branches /La Vid y las Ramas) is an inactive group, with one person in diaspora, Beti Leone. She assists the Sojourners group as a visiting retreat guide, and she's open to others joining her in a new group. For more info, contact her at [email protected]
